The Munich International Library's 2025 "White Crows" list includes five Iranian books among 215 titles from 63 countries in 42 languages. This year's list features five books from Iran: "A Sun in the Turkmen Desert" by Yousef Qojaq and illustrated by Najla Mahdavi Ashraf, published by the Children and Adolescents Intellectual Development Center, "The School of the Sharp and the Wild" by Payam Ebrahimi and Ghazaleh Bigdalo, published by Touti Publishing, "The Stars Laugh Blue" by Safoora Nayiri and illustrated by Salimeh Babakhan, published by the Research Institute for Iranian History and Literature, "The Wandering Coffin" by Hamidreza Shahabadi, published by Ofogh Publishing, "The Seagull, the Guardian of the Forest" by Mohammadreza Shams and illustrated by Parvin Heydarizadeh, published by Portaqal Publishing. The Munich International Library's "White Ravens" catalog, published on its 39th anniversary, features a new list of outstanding international books from 2025.

MTN Translation Funding Program 2025 -Indonesia The MTN Translation Funding Program is open to publishers across all literary genres, who are interested in translating and publishing Indonesian books into his/her language and territory. The maximum grant will be IDR33,000,000 for fiction and nonfiction books, and maximum IDR11,000,000 for children's book. Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 1 November 2025. Selections will be made after this date, and all applicants will be notified of the results.
